2019:
  • Congratulations to GRIP Lab alumni Yutong Wu, Carmen Chan, and Cordelia Jin for having their paper "Effects of Avatar Gender on Negotiation in a Virtual Environment" be selected as the best student paper in the NCA 2019 Group Communication Division! The three will be recognized at the division's business meeting in Baltimore this November and awarded a $100 cash prize.

  • Our undergraduate students, Cordelia and Yutong, presented their poster "Effects of Avatar Gender on Negotiation Strategy and Outcomes in an Immersive Virtual Environment" at the 68th Conference of the International Communication Association in Prague, Czech Republic, May 24-28.
